Rosewood Farm values the importance of being part of the local community, and actively supports organisations that make a difference to Australian lives.
Since late 2017, we have donated to a number of charitable causes, and we are incredibly proud and humbled to be given such opportunities. Rosewood Farm has a strong commitment to supporting our local communities.
Stephen and Iming, owners of Rosewood Farm, are also foster carers for the Australian Border Force Detector Dog Program. Since 2015, they have raised and looked after a number of Labrador dogs to participate in the program.
Established in 1956, GAWS is a non-profit animal welfare organisation for stray and lost animals from Geelong and surrounding areas. It operates an animal shelter and a veterinary clinic to the public.
Formed in 1975 to promote sport to Lara residents and children. The Club currently caters for football, cricket, netball and baseball. There are more than 60 seniors and junior teams with approximately 1300 participants.
Established in 2002, the charity rescues and rehomes stray or surrendered Maremma and related dogs. It educates the public on the breed and the responsible ownership of such dogs, as are commonly seen around Rosewood Farm guarding our many ducks and chickens.
The charity raises money for the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, Victoria, to provide world-class care to children in need, with a well-known fundraising event held annually every Good Friday.
